Designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto, the Hasami collection is modern, yet maintains a timeless, natural look. Each product is designed to be modular. Pieces that share the same diameter can be stacked, stored and transported easily. Hasami porcelains are made in Hasami, an area in Nagasaki prefecture of Japan. Nagasaki prefecture has a 400 year history for making porcelain dating back to the Edo Period. The unique combination of porcelain and clay makes each piece extra durable and strong for everyday use. It is microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
