Beckoning Lucky Cat Coin Bank - Japan

Founded in Tokyo in 1899, Hiroto Glass has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese Glassware. Hirota Glass continues to push hand-crafted glass to its artistic limits creating many new designs for the modern times along with some of its classic designs dating back to the pre war period.

The handblown money jar is a new take on the western piggy bank. The raised right paw on the cat signifies good fortune.  After the glass shape is formed, the colors are hand painted by in house artisans.
